Shopping
It’s not just jewellery shops – discover all the different ways to shop in Vicenza city centre
Alongside the extraordinary artistic and cultural treasures that Vicenza has to offer, one can certainly mention activities that are perhaps more secular, but certainly no less appealing: for example, shopping.
The international appeal of the VicenzaOro Fair attracts visitors from all over the world, so the gold and jewellery sector is certainly very important in Vicenza, but it is by no means the only one.
Where to go shopping in Vicenza
The interesting website Vishopping.it, managed by Confcommercio Vicenza, clearly shows which and how many shops there are in the city centre. Naturally, Corso Fogazzaro and Corso Palladio stand out, along with shops selling almost every type of product.
Once you arrive here at the 4-star Hotel Campo Marzio, given its excellent location right in the heart of the historic centre, you can reach your favourite shops directly on foot, with a pleasant stroll amongst historic beauty and a glamorous atmosphere.
The Pyramids and the Palladio Shopping Centre
About 10 minutes from the hotel, you can go shopping at the Palladio Shopping Centre and the Le Piramidi Shopping Centre, which are located a short distance apart and form a hub with a very high concentration of shops and leisure facilities.
Le Piramidi is the largest shopping centre in the Veneto region, boasting 150 shops, department stores, pubs, nightclubs and a multiplex cinema; the Palladio Shopping Centre has a car park with over 2,000 spaces and, with its 100 shops, attracts some 7 million visitors a year.
